Amaco Smoke Celadon is glaze #20 of my commercial glaze tests. It was a recent purchase so I haven't had a chance to test it on more than 2 clay bodies: porcelain and white stoneware w/specks. I was so happy when Amaco released Smoke into their celadon line as I'd spent years looking for a nice transparent gray glaze, and this glaze delivered. Easy to use, doesn't craze, and doesn't run, the trifecta of glazes for making pendants.Fired to cone 5 1/2 on Kentucky Mudworks clay bodies.
