Georgie's Sage Green is glaze 15 in my commercial glaze tests. One of Georgie's fabulous mattes, I love the color of this one along with its stonelike feel. It can be finicky if applied too thick, as you can see it runs a bit and pinholes on the 112. With pinholes it's either the glaze has too many coats, or the clay is outgassing while the glaze cools, usually seen in darker clays. I think with this glaze it is the former that was the problem. Sage Green breaks on texture well for a matte. The thinner the application, the more the texture shows through. Fired to cone 5 1/2 on Kentucky Mudworks and Standard (112) clays.
